The Crown InnSnape
|
The settle in codgers corner. A relaxing arrangement with a warming log fire in the winter months. Perfect to eat in or just to relax in. This fifteenth century inn lies just a stone's throw from Snape Maltings, home of the Aldeburgh Music Festival and a host of other concerts. Downstairs the Inn is wonderfully unspoiled with an abundance of beams, intriguing old brick floors, open fires and the settle pictured above - probably the finest double Suffolk settle in existence. The dining room is open seven nights a week with a changing menu emphasising fresh local produce and excellent meat, fish and game in season. There is a traditional Sunday lunch complemented by a good range of freshly prepared bar meals served every lunch time and evening |
